Once again: Was Pseudunio auricularius still living in Great Britain quite recently?
Spirula , Volume 366 p. 13- 14
Recent specimens of the endangered pearl mussel Pseudunio auricularius have been recorded in the past from two rivers in Great Britain: the river Clouden in Scotland and the river Wye in England. More material may be hiding among specimens of Margaritifera margaritifera in old collections.
