De Noordelijke Oeverlanden aan de Nieuwe Meer te Amsterdam

Over 40 years the author has taken interest in the malacofauna of the Noordelijke Oeverlanden, on the border of lake Nieuwe Meer, southwest of Amsterdam (province of North-Holland). The area yielded interesting finds of both terrestrial and freshwater snails. In 1993 the author could prevent the construction of a bicycle path through a grove harbouring the Common door snail Clausilia bidentata.
