A female Rhomphaea specimen is described, depicted and provisionnaly identified as the so far unknown female of Rhomphaea longicaudata (O.P.-Cambridge, 1872) comb. nov. A summary of the species of the genera Ariamnes and Rhomphaea occurring in the mediterranean ad adjacent regions is presented.
