De Rode lijst dagvlinders van Vlaanderen

In March 1996 the Red List of butterflies of Flanders was officially presented. The list indicates a similar alarming situation as in the Netherlands; two-thirds of the Indigenous species are either extinct or threatened. There is a large similarity in the species which are endangered in both countries. Adaptations in nature management and further scientific research are needed to save the Red List species.
