Members of the Hymenoptera section visited the island of Tiengemeten on 16 August 2008. During a walk on part of the island bees and wasps were collected. Each territory is described in short and a list of observed species is included, along with comments. The commonest species found were those of ruderale grounds. Many of these species nest in the ground, especially sandy ground.
