Based partly on old data, a survey for the ’Atlasproject Nederlandse Mollusken’ (ANM) was held in september 13-16 1998 in Zeeuws Vlaanderen. The survey was especially focussed on Vertigo angustior; Truncatellina cylindrica, Balea perversa and Auriculinella erosa (syn: Leucophytia bidentata). Although all species mentioned were found, the last two (especially Balea perversa) seem to have disappeared from earlier locations (= before 1950). Balea biplicata and several Helicidae were new to the area and/or seem to have expanded their distribution.
