Nieuws uit de diepzee

I saw recently on Discovery Channel a documentary film about an expedition with a deep sea submarine on a deep location westerly from Central America. The film showed many different animals which partly seem to be new to science. But most interesting was a giant squid ( Architeuthis). This is the first time that this animal was seen alive in its own habitat.
