A case of intensive predation on Brachidontes pharaonis by the White Sea Bream Diplodus sargus is reported from the Mediterranean coast of Israel near the ‘Marina’ of Herzliyya, Israel. The remains of about 89 mussels were found in the crop of the intestines of a single fish. Both species occupy the same habitat: rocky outcrops and boulders in the littoral zone.
