Recently we bought a specimen of Cerostoma inornatum Récluz, 1851 at the shell show in Paris, that as labelled was collected south of Bordeaux. I was told that seed of this species is imported form Japan tohgether with seed of the Japanese oyster, Crassostrea gigas. This Murex is already a real plague in the Bay of Arachon and is expected to arrivé in Bretagne within two years. Is there any publication about this phenomenon?
